In addition to waist measurement, overall obesity increases your risk of type 2 diabetes. 
Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat and a simple way to check if extra pounds have turned into a health risk.

The two-minute diabetes risk test will calculate your BMI using either imperial (inches/feet) or metric (meters/kilograms) height and weight measurements.

If you are Caucasian, Aboriginal or African descent:
25 or over

If you are Asian, South Asian or Hispanic descent:
22 or over
